Keynote-SIGOS SITE system

General
Today, network operators are confronted with an extremely dynamic market and the challenges of keeping up with new technology, permanent surveillance of Service Level Agreement (SLA), and reducing costs whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.

In addition, the introduction of new technologies such as GPRS and UMTS with their value added services is creating new challenges for network operators and manufacturers. Aspects related to quality improvement, intensification of customer loyalty, increasing ARPU, etc. have therefore become very highly valued benchmarks.

To reach these targets, regular, proactive and preventive testing of the network and services is inevitable. These tests however are both labour-intensive and extremely costly and for this reason are frequently neglected.

The solution is fully automated testing.

With its competence, SIGOS has developed an innovative product in the field of test automation, which permits easy automated testing in various areas – the SIGOS Integrated Test Environment (SITE).

SITE Test System
The comprehensive interfaces (GSM/GPRS/HSCSD Um, UMTS/WCDMA/HSDPA Uu, ISDN, S0, PTSN a/b, GSM A, Gb, ISUP; about to be integrated lu, Trace Mobile), the stable LINUX operating system and the intelligent SIM Card Multiplexing assure maximum customer satisfaction. The modular structure of SITE guarantees maximum flexibility in QoS, End2End and Service Testing. We offer applications for Basic Call (speech and data), Supplementary Services, SMS, MMS, WAP, GPRS, IVR, Roaming, IN/Camel, Prepaid, Postpaid, Streaming, Browsing, WLAN, PoC, Blackberry and many more.

By means of the SITE Report environment which is a fully integrated feature in SITE, the test results and measurements (KPIs) can easily be illustrated as charts, histograms, pie charts. Integrated as part of the Reporting, is a alarming functionality, enabling the monitoring of each single KPI. SITE can be operated as a small stand-alone solution (e.g. in test labs) or as a distributed network wide test system.

Architecture
The SITE Test System consists of several clients, a central control unit, a SIM card multiplexer and an arbitrary number of local units located at different geographic places which keep the test interfaces.

All SITE components are connected via an permanent or non-permanent (wireless) LAN/WAN network. Thus the architecture is quite simple and enables a fast and easy installation of the system independent on the quantity of local units.

Keynote-SIGOS GlobalRoamer service

General
The Roaming traffic increased significantly over the last decade and is representing today an important part of the mobile operator's revenue.

By introducing new technologies and services like Video Telephony, MMS and UMTS/HSDPA networks become more and more complex, interference-prone and increasingly complicating to administer.

Today customers are used to a high quality and reliable service, expecting just the same all over the world.

Therefore a permanent surveillance of the roaming networks is indispensable but extremely complicated due to a lack of control.

GlobalRoamer Service
The Keynote SIGOS GlobalRoamer allows you to verify that all services are available to your roaming customers worldwide. By means of the Keynote SIGOS SIM Multiplexing technology your SIMs are virtually transmitted to remote test stations in many countries where real voice, SMS and data calls are performed.

In this way, many user profiles can be rapidly tested all over the world without a single SIM card ever having to be physically shipped to the remote test locations. Of course reporting facilities enable the visualization of the results. In case of critical quality degradation automated E-mail alarms are sent to your technical staff.

All you have to do is
- Send your test SIM cards to Keynote SIGOS
- Access the worldwide test network via the internet
- Define and start the tests and collect the result

The Keynote-SIGOS GlobalRoamer has a powerful web-based graphical user interface to enable the user to construct the precise test required in the minimum amount of time. The test can then be run (repeatedly) in real-time. The user can view the test as it progresses and has immediate access to detailed trace information as soon as the test completes in order to troubleshoot rapidly.

With a large library of service test templates and the ability to customize unique tests across a broad range of services, the GlobalRoamer enables rapid and focused troubleshooting of roaming service problems. All tests can be executed on an ad-hoc or permanent basis using the powerful scheduling capabilities. The test results can be compared to user definable thresholds triggering alarms once these are crossed. Additionally all test results can be exported for further off-line analysis. These powerful reporting techniques allow benchmarking of service quality and performance against historical values or even against those of competitors.

In addition GlobalRoamer provides reporting capability to view reports by service, roaming partner or country. Because of the underlying service model technology it is also possible to drill-down to identify particular service problems, view individual test results or even view detailed test trace information to help identify the root cause of a service problem.

Finally, GlobalRoamer provides for flatrate users regular email summary results in comma separated variable (csv, html) format. These results can be imported into spreadsheets, OLAP or other tools for even more sophisticated analysis and reporting.

Worldwide Testing
Today you can already test over 120 mobile networks worldwide. Currently covered are the following countries
